I have mix drum and hhit go very good but in the toms only one trigger when I export ,I need all trigger not in one midi track like hhit ?

My ears must be fucked, think you need to push more for difference.

I think Addictive Drums 2 has better stock presets like United Heavy. Maybe i should put an L2 + DBX on the Alt Rock drum hits? Maybe API? To sound like Albini it needs to hit like youre standing right next to it... But just a DS2 cabbed/preamped/ampegged power chords smothers it and sounds nothing like In Utero's drum mixes.

How do you do this in the new pro tools, the menus completely different!

I’ve just watched, sadly, 7 and a half minutes of this 9 minute video. Everything talked about so far is about the *free* Avid Control software for the iPad. I’ve not seen a single reason why to add the very expensive hardware dock, which just appears to be an iPad stand with a rotary knob and a couple of buttons.. And I’ve now given up on this totally dull video .

Resolve and Fairlight is an amazing tool! You touched on the fact that 3rd party effects can be applied on a per clip basis, yes, they can also be added as effects in the mixer strips. I have worked on many pro audio and video systems including older Fairlight, SSL, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, AVID, Premiere, Final Cut and others, and Resolve is simply far and away the best platform out there for a total solution, for sound and picture, and it's not even close. And they just keep making it better without making it necessary for me to buy a new computer to run it with the upgrades. That is a very big deal.

Hey guys, with all due respect, what kind of track is this? Could you use something better? How am I going to understand anything with such a drum sound?

I have this EQ since years, but never used it. And the main thing : i did not used it properly. Yesterday i used this plugin ( in combination with Kazrog True Iron. True Iron goes first in the chain ) ,- and i got warm sounding ,loud and present sounding mix. My thoughts were : before buying a tons of plugins ( where a lot of them will never be used ),- is really worth to save some money and learn such a great plug-ins like this EQ. Sounds fantastic!

The original trick was made for analog gear where the room itself could add resonances for some frequences. In digital world there is no difference because the simulation is too perfect. At least with no modulation. ;)

Units like this are awesome but I also find it really hard to decide which settings actually sound better, so many sweet spots, lead to to many tough choices. Often after hours of tweaking and procrastinating I swear half the time the choice ends up been random 😂 Still it generally is going to sound excellent with ssl. & playing around with insert & various bits of kit in the m\s setting sure opens up a heap of possibilities 🤔 kinda like to hear one in person cos RUclips sound quality cuts out a lot.

I have 9 guitars. [ I’m not wealthy, just built up a collection over the years , and I’m quite old ] Had this one for about a year now , i seldom pick the others up now. Absolute value for money, I am a bit of a BM fan but nonetheless it’s a quality machine.

Didn't quite get what it does. Very unclear presentation. Does it record MIDI as well as audio from anywhere? Could you just say it? Why didn't you? Aside from the confusing start mentioning a daw and then playing a standalone (!!!), those markers were really impossible to understand what they were up to. This could be a smart tool but presented really badly. No time to delve in, sorry.

I used iZotope RX 10 Advanced in conjunction with Adobe Audition 2024 and everything worked normally. This week I decided to update the RX to version 11, however, the audio volume during playback is very low. Previously I played the audio opened in Adobe Audition to the RX 10 through the RX Connect plugin and when playing this audio on the RX the volume was the same. Now with version 11 of RX the audio is played at a much lower volume. I accessed the RX 11 settings and verified that there are now controls to adjust the audio output volume, I adjusted these controls to 0dB, but even so the volume is much lower than in Adobe Audition. Can you tell me what could be causing this problem? I wouldn't want to have to go back to version 10 of RX.

My number 1 plugin to seperate scales and melodies. The scales go into the daw and the melodies in eon arp. Keeps it flexible and fast to finetune a melody later instead of going though all midi clips inside a daw.

I've been using this plugin for a while and works quite well. I did a comparison with Wave's Vocal Rider, which is more popolar. I found Waverider to be more responsive and ultimately better.

Just a small tip: I notice that it adds a 2K frequency boost to the mix when it plays back through your smart phone speakers. I simply put another EQ on my master bus at the end of my mastering chain. Then I do a 2 to 3 db cut in the 2K frequency range to get an accurate preview of how it will actually sound once I bounce the track to an audio file. Before I bouce the track to the final audio file, I remove that last EQ from my mastering chain. It works like a charm. Love this plugin 🔥🔥🔥

Does this work with non wax plugins? Or only audio source?
